Training
Dance has been a lifelong passion for Rasha.  In 2003, craving something new and different, she began taking bellydance lessons from Miabella in Fort Worth and was instantly hooked.  Rasha found that bellydance was the perfect outlet for her creative energy and sought to immerse herself in this fascinating art form.  In the following years, she has continued to further her dance education through attending weekly bellydance classes in addition to cross training in yoga, Pilates, jazz, hip hop, and ballet.  


Instruction
Currently Rasha teaches weekly beginner through advanced bellydance classes in Fort Worth and Aledo.  Her focus as an instructor is on proper body alignment, mastery of basic technique, musical interpretation, and choreography.  Rasha supplies her students with a strong foundation of knowledge in bellydance while at the same time providing a fun and effective workout. 


Performance
Known for her refined style and fluid muscle control, Rasha’s performances showcase the dynamic movements that make bellydance beautiful. She has honed her exceptional performance skills as a dancer at various fine dining establishments in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  In addition, Rasha performs frequently at public and private functions throughout Texas, both as a soloist and as a member of Anahata Bellydance Company.

Anahata was amazing! I want to take more workshops from them. Rasha's choreography is solid and easy to learn but challenging to execute because it's REALLY fast in places and looks fantastic! I love the way Rasha explains the moves and drills enough to create muscle memory. She also made great use of all the troupe members so every participant got more individual attention.
